The U15s gave everything in a terrific Grand Final contest

After falling behind in the opening quarter, the team produced a huge fightback and entered three-quarter time in front. The players never stopped working, competing and trying to find a way to win, but Crib Point responded strongly in the final term. Although the result did not go their way, the effort and determination shown by the group was something to be proud of. They left everything on the field and represented the club brilliantly on the biggest day of the season.

The U15s should be proud of their Grand Final performance and incredibly proud of their season as a whole. Congratulations to every player, coach, team manager, volunteer and family involved.

What an incredible story!

At the end of 2025, the club had just three U12 Girls players needing to move into U14 football. Six girls then attended a Come and Try Night late in the year, and the club made the commitment to establish a new U14 Girls team. From those uncertain beginnings, the group continued to welcome players, build friendships and improve with every game. They went from strength to strength throughout the season, always playing with enthusiasm, supporting one another and enjoying their football. On Grand Final Day, the Tigers took control and were never headed, completing their remarkable inaugural season with a 23–11 victory and a premiership.

Congratulations to every player, coach, team manager, volunteer and family who helped turn the idea of a new team into a premiership-winning reality. This is a special achievement and a wonderful moment in the history of South Mornington.

Just fell short but another fantastic season for a team

Another fantastic season for a team that has consistently competed near the top of its division across the past two years. Grand Final Day did not deliver the result they had hoped for, but that takes nothing away from this team, the quality of the players within it or everything they achieved throughout the season. They earned their place in the Grand Final and fought hard against a quality opponent.

Congratulations to Cash Anderson, who received Best on Ground honours following a brilliant performance. The entire U12 Yellow group should hold their heads high and be incredibly proud of another outstanding year.

U12 Black finished on top of their division after playing some fantastic football throughout the season and thoroughly deserved their place in the Grand Final. Unfortunately, Grand Final Day was not theirs, with Crib Point proving too strong. However, one result cannot define the quality of their season. The players should be extremely proud of the way they competed on the day and even prouder of everything they achieved together across the year.

An amazing season came to an end

An amazing season came to an end against a strong Mt Martha side. This superstar group fought its way into the finals and should be incredibly proud of its determination, improvement and everything achieved throughout the year.

A heartbreaking one point loss brought an outstanding season to an end. Thank you to everyone involved with the team on such a great season.

Produced two dominant performances to secure a thoroughly deserved premiership

U11 Black worked their way into the season and continued to improve before finishing the season. When finals arrived, they lifted again, producing two dominant performances to secure a thoroughly deserved premiership. The team’s Grand Final performance reflected everything they had built throughout the season, with strong teamwork enormous effort and contributions from across the group. Congratulations to every player, coach, team manager, volunteer and family involved. U11 Black are deserved 2026 premiers!

Special Shout out to the Luke Smith, the runner on the day, who flew from QLD for the game and returned straight after!
