Hi Tiger Families and Sponsors,

Finals Week 2 gave us just one game to focus on — and our U11 Black boys gave us plenty to be proud of.

They kicked the opening goal and pushed Rosebud all day in a tough Preliminary Final. While the result didn’t go our way, the spirit, effort, and unity they showed was everything we value at SMJFC. It was a gallant performance, and we thank Ben, Riley, Leanne, and all the volunteers who supported this team throughout the season.

This week’s Tiger Tails also looks ahead to a huge Sunday, with four South Mornington teams chasing Grand Final glory. We’d love to see a sea of yellow and black at the grounds — your support means the world to our players.

We also take a moment to send our best wishes to Jackson Ablett and Romeo Portelli ahead of the Combined Competition Presentation Night.

Finally, a reminder that the clubrooms will be open from 5pm on Grand Final day for all teams, families, and supporters to come together — whether it’s celebration or commiseration, we’ll be there to share it.
